anonymous web browsing via the cloak

Sometimes I want to check out a website without that site recording my IP address as the source of the request. In fact I often do this when checking access control mechanisms on one of my own websites. I had occasion to do the latter check recently and hopped over to my favourite anonymiser at the cloak. But after a few tests, the cloak refused to let me continue because it had seen too many requests from my IP address. Apparently if I waited about five hours I could try again (presumably until I again hit their free usage limit).

This is fair enough, and I was about to find another site to use when I noticed their invitation to link to them. That page says that they will give a certain amount of free usage to anyone who posts a link which they believe to be of value to them. So this page does just that.

Go on, try them.
